It all started with a pencil, a coffee table and a sheet of printer paper.
Marcus Gilroy (He/Him)
As a kid, you could always find me at my coffee table, hunched over a blank piece of paper and furiously scribbling away. Turns out, those hours spent doodling would lead me down a path towards graphic design and brand strategy.
As I grew older, my skills developed alongside my love for drawing. I traded in my trusty pencils for the Adobe Creative Suite, and soon enough, I was creating clipping masks and weaving bezier curves like a pro.
During my college program, I started my career at a newspaper and then landed a job at a design agency after graduation. Combining this with freelance work on the side, I quickly learned how to be resourceful and solve problems on the fly.
Over the past decade I became a Registered Graphic Designer and blazed my own path in the world of in-house design. I’m currently the Graphic Design Lead for a global brand; guiding a talented team of creatives as we bring the brand to life and drive business results.
I take this experience and sprinkle a generous dose of passion into each of my projects. It isn't about pixels and fonts; it's the art of turning my client stories into captivating brands that will stand out in the market.
My journey has been a long winding road, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
